I recently purchased the last MacHeist nano bundle which included about 10 apps or so including MacJournal. This seems very much like a localized Evernote with a few more features. I can create journal notebooks with several entries or notes. I can lock journals with a password and then choose to further encrypt them. I can add images, audio files and even videos captured from the Mac’s isight camera. It even allows me to email entries or post them as entries to this blog. In fact I’m writing this post in MacJournal. They just came out with an iPhone app that allows sync of simple text journals with the desktop app and allows you to post to your blog direct from an iPhone or iPod touch.
